Growing up we had a huge box of photos, my parents still have it, only now we usually only go through it when we're preparing for a funeral. That exact situation is what changed my why for photography. Death at any age is hard but it's a little easier to accept when it's someone who has lived a full, long life. When we lost my cousin a few years ago it was sudden and unexpected and rocked our family. His death created in me a passion for every family to have a portrait that encompasses the true personality of the family, both as a whole as well as the individual personalities of each member!

My Philosophy
Photographs are everythingLife is extremely short, we aren't promised tomorrow, & photography allows you to freeze time! I would absolutely love the opportunity to capture your family's legacy in print so that for generations to come you can be taken back to this time in life, whether it's with small children who are starting to show their little personalities with the best belly laughs, or the older kids who you wish could stay little just a bit longer, or grown children who are starting families of their own!
